Speaker applicants: name, email address, phone number, professional title and organization, website or LinkedIn profile, instructor credentials, teaching topics, resume details, and current board memberships. Accepted speakers may also provide a headshot link, biography, and references.

Organizations requesting training: contact name, email address, phone number, title, organization, subject area, estimated group size, preferred delivery format, and timeline.

Sign-in information: when you access the Speaker Portal, we use your email address or Google account to verify your identity. We do not ask for or store a password.

How we use it

To review speaker applications, communicate about your application status, and match instructors with training opportunities.

To respond to training requests and coordinate programs with your organization.

To operate, secure, and improve this website, including preventing spam and misuse.

How we share it

Your information is never displayed publicly and is not sold. Application and request details are visible only to you and to authorized Index staff.

When we match a speaker with an organization, we may share relevant professional details with that organization with the speaker’s knowledge.

We use trusted service providers to host this website, store data, and deliver sign-in emails. They process information only on our behalf.

Retention

We keep application and request records for as long as needed to evaluate them, maintain our speaker network, and meet legal or business obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

Speakers can review and update most application details from the Speaker Portal. Your name and email address stay fixed after submission. To correct those details, or to request access to or deletion of your information, please contact us.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, and verified sign-in to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard what you share with us.
